How cool is this Christmas gift I just received?! A Zemi speaker from the Apple Store. A huge thank you to #youknowwhoyouare.

The Zemi is not the perfect AirPlay speaker, but it’s not far off. It’s a bit too fussy about placement and it needs to be stripped of its metal grille to get the most out of it. That said, it’s distinctive looking, easy to use and is versatile enough to cope with a wide range of sources.

I’ve had this for a few months now: you can judge yourself the design from the pics (and in case the metal grille is not of your liking, keep in mind that it is removable). As far the sound is concerned, it’s truly amazing how rich and powerful it sounds, in such a compact package. Perfect AirPlay sync, or BT if you prefer. No external power bricks, just a power cord and it fits in any room with ease.

Un oggetto splendido, per il quale vi sono infinitamente grato. La sorpresa più grande fu entrare in quel luogo e subire l’incanto di quel suono celestiale. Stordito di tanta bellezza, mi sono messo a cercare la fonte di questo suono, ma era impossibile trovarlo, come una magia questo suono mi avvolgeva ovunque io andassi. Non vi era una fonte, una sorgente, solo suono puro che si spandeva in quello spazio come per magia. Fu un’esperienza che rimarrà nella mia mente e nelle mie orecchie per sempre. È magia? Un caro saluto, e grazie per avermi fatto sentire questo suono paradisiaco

Ho ricevuto in regalo questo speaker qualche mese fa. Il design lo rende un oggetto affascinante che non passa mai inosservato in casa, anche da spento, ma la sua vera forza esce quando lo accendete. Il suono è ricco, potente e molto definito anche ad alto volume, soprattutto se usate una buona sorgente audio e la connessione diretta Bluetooth o via cavo ottico. Molto pratico il supporto AirPlay per renderlo accessibile sulla rete Wi-Fi. Un ringraziamento anche al supporto tecnico del produttore, che mi ha suggerito come posizionarlo al meglio e mi ha fornito un firmware aggiornato.
